What is Estate Planning?
Estate planning involves organizing your assets to ensure they are distributed according to your wishes after you pass away. It’s more than just creating a will or trust—it’s a comprehensive strategy that addresses your financial, healthcare, and personal affairs. This thoughtful planning provides peace of mind, knowing that your loved ones are cared for and your legacy is protected.
Inheritance disputes are one of the leading cause of family conflict, often resulting in damaged relationships and long-lasting resentment.
Ensure your legacy with our comprehensive estate planning services. From trusts to wills, we've got your future secured.
Our Estate Planning Process
-
Your estate planning journey starts with a free 30-minute phone call. During this consultation, we’ll discuss your goals, answer any initial questions, and determine the best plan for your needs. This is an opportunity to understand your unique situation and ensure we create an estate plan that protects you and your loved ones.
This is a no-pressure opportunity to ensure we’re the right fit to work together. -
We make estate planning simple, but we need a little help from you! Before our next meeting, you’ll complete a detailed worksheet covering your assets, beneficiaries, and wishes. It takes time, but it’s essential for crafting a plan that truly protects you and your loved ones.
Put in the effort now, and we’ll handle the rest! -
During this meeting (in-person or remotely), we’ll review your worksheet and design a customized estate plan that fits your family’s needs. We’ll walk you through your options, ensuring you understand each decision before moving forward. All estate plans are done on a flat-fee basis, so there are no hidden costs.
Once we finalize your plan design, we begin drafting your legal documents. This process typically takes about two weeks. You’ll receive a summary of your plan for review, and we’ll address any questions or revisions before finalizing your documents.
-
Once your estate plan is ready, we’ll schedule a signing appointment—either in-person or remotely. During this meeting, we’ll ensure all documents are properly executed and notarized. By the end of this process, you’ll have a legally sound estate plan in place, giving you peace of mind that your family is protected.
Our support doesn’t end after signing. As your life evolves, so should your estate plan. Whether you need updates or have questions, we’re always here to help keep your plan current and effective.
